AI Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

We're seeking an AI Full Stack Engineer to build and scale the infrastructure behind our responsible AI evaluation platform. You'll work across the entire stack, from React frontends to Python ML pipelines to cloud infrastructure on GCP.

You'll own critical features end-to-end: designing APIs, building intuitive interfaces for complex AI evaluation workflows, optimizing ML inference pipelines, and ensuring our platform scales reliably for enterprise customers.

This role is ideal for an engineer who loves working at the intersection of AI and software engineering, and who wants their work to directly improve the safety and fairness of AI systems globally.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain full-stack features across our Next.js web platform and Flask/FastAPI backend services
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for AI evaluation, scoring, and compliance workflows
  • Optimize ML model serving pipelines for low-latency inference at scale
  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualization tools for AI evaluation results
  • Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP (Cloud Run, BigQuery, GCS, Firestore)
  • Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and monitoring for production services
  • Write comprehensive tests and documentation for all features
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (React, Next.js) and Python (Flask or FastAPI)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable)
  • Familiarity with ML model deployment and serving (ONNX, TensorFlow Serving, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of database design (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HuggingFace ecosystem (Transformers, Datasets, Inference Endpoints)
  • Background in NLP or working with large language models
  • Contributions to open-source projects
  • Experience with BigQuery or similar data warehouse solutions
