These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the platform, API, SDKs, MCP server, and related tools (the "Services") provided by Responsible AI Labs Pvt. Ltd. ("RAIL", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in India (CIN U62099MP2025PTC077495), with its registered office at 672, Ruchi Lifescapes, 2nd Floor, Jatkhedi, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India - 462023.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
By creating an account, accessing the API, or using any Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, and our Responsible AI Policy (together with any feature-specific terms). If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You represent that the information you provide is accurate, that you have not been previously suspended from the Services, and that your use complies with applicable law.
You must provide accurate registration information, keep your password and API keys confidential, verify your email address, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account.
We offer Free, Pro, Business, and Enterprise tiers. Credit allocations are: Free 100, Pro 1,000, Business 10,000, and Enterprise (custom). Monthly credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not carry over to the next period.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. We accept payment via Razorpay (INR) and PayPal (USD). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
We may change pricing on at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
Subscriptions and used credits are generally non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time from your account settings.
API access uses Bearer token authentication with keys prefixed rail_. Keep keys secret and do not embed them in client-side code. Usage is subject to rate limits and available credits. We may throttle, suspend, or revoke keys for abnormal usage, security risk, or violation of these Terms.
You retain all rights to the content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Services as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and, where applicable, consents (including verifiable parental consent for any child's data) for the content you submit.
You must not: use the Services unlawfully or to harm, harass, or discriminate; attempt to defeat safety or content controls; gain unauthorized access to or probe our systems; scrape or harvest data without permission; reverse engineer the Services; disrupt the Services; create multiple accounts to evade limits; or resell or redistribute API access without authorization.
The Services, including software, models, algorithms, documentation, and branding, are owned by RAIL or its licensors. You retain all intellectual property rights in the content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process and analyze your content solely to provide and maintain the Services. If you provide feedback, you grant us the right to use it without restriction.
We aim for reliable Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Beta features are provided "as is" and may change or be withdrawn.
The Services provide automated evaluation and compliance-testing signals across eight Responsible AI dimensions and against frameworks including India DPDP, GDPR, EU AI Act, HIPAA, and CCPA. These outputs are decision-support signals, not legal advice, certification, or a guarantee of compliance with any law or standard. You remain responsible for your own compliance and for any decisions you make using our outputs, and you should obtain qualified professional advice where appropriate.
You may terminate by cancelling and deleting your account or by contacting hello@responsibleailabs.ai. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or applicable law, non-payment, fraudulent or harmful behavior, or to protect the Services or third parties. On termination, your right to use the Services ceases; we retain and delete data as described in our Privacy Policy. Clauses that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) survive termination.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that outputs will be accurate or complete. Our AI evaluation outputs are not a substitute for human judgment or professional advice.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAIL AND ITS AFFILIATES AND PERSONNEL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You will indemnify and hold harmless RAIL and its affiliates and personnel from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, your violation of third-party rights, or the content you submit.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at hello@responsibleailabs.ai to seek informal resolution. Disputes not resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, conducted in English; the courts of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh will have exclusive jurisdiction for matters not subject to arbitration. Either party may seek injunctive relief to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
These Terms, with the incorporated policies, are the entire agreement between you and RAIL regarding the Services. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control.
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you. Changes take effect immediately for new users and 30 days after posting for existing users. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
